Superman's birthday has been traditionally observed as being on Feb. 29th (The Silver Age version of The Man of Steel).

Julie Schwartz came up with the idea as an explanation how Superman doesn't seem to age much because his birthday is every 4 years.

Supermans my favoritie character along with He-man (im a '80s kid afterall), popeye, spiderman, bugs, and daffy. Im glad he was created and will always 'peep' when something is done with him even if its something that i dont think is a good idea or think is bad for the character.
Could he be in the top 5 of best characters created in the 20 century? I think so!

The first time I ever encountered Superman's Kryptonian birth name was during the first season of Super Friends, but instead of hearing Kal-El I thought I heard Cow-El.
