    Justice League: Doom

Just finished watching this with the boy. I enjoyed it a lot. A little grimmer than most, but given that it was based on "Tower of Babel" by Mark Waid and Howard Porter, which was a downer to begin with, I expected that.

Nice to hear most of the JLU voice cast returning (with Tim Daly back as Superman instead of George Newburn). There were some surprises in character selection along the way. The villains' ultimate plot is a nice call back to one of the better JLU episodes.

The animation style was similar to Crisis on Two Earths and Young Justice, but maybe a little more anime. I would have rather seen a more Timm-like look, but it didn't bother me much. Superman and Wonder Woman looked a little weird at times, but I can live with it.

I'd recommend it to any DC fanboy, and especially fans of JL/JLU. Nice dedication to Dwayne McDuffie at the end, as this was the last thing he wrote before his untimely passing. He delivered the goods as always.

Chris you had me at "enjoyed it". I picked it up and watched it last night. All of them were only on Blu-Ray only for some reason so I picked it up, cracked it and burned a copy to DVD for my one friend who doesn't have a Blu-Ray player.
Awesome show. The voices seem familiar; I'm guessing some of them have done other voices from the JLA cartoon.
Love introducing Cyborg to the masses but would have seen Aquaman but it was a good show.

Superman was voiced by Tim Daly of STAS. Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Vandal Savage and Star Sapphire were the JLU voice actors (and of course Batman was Kevin Conroy also of BTAS, STAS and Batman Beyond). Nathan Fillion voiced Hal Jordan in the GL: Emerald Knights movie last year.

It was a home run for me, I liked "Crisis" slightly better but it had more of a connection to JLU. Hal Jordan was a nice addition and Fillion did a great job.

How many comic characters has Bumper Robinson played now? He was Ebony in the Spirit movie years ago and it seems every time I turn around he's voicing another superhero.

"Crisis" appealed to the fanboy in me who loves the "evil twin" parallel earth idea. But this one definitely felt more like the JLU series, mostly due to the voice cast.

I wish Fillion was Hal on the GL animated series, although Josh Keaton is doing a nice job so far.

I hope they reassemble this cast for any other ensemble movie they do.

I liked it even if it it seemed a little short. Of course I was sold at "Legion of Doom". I also hope it opens up for the potential for something I'd love to see: A DC animated movie take on the Alex Ross "Justice" series.

The movie seemed a bit one-dimensional to me.

It came across kinda as "Get their secrets, use 'em against 'em"
then the JL fights back and wins.

I dunno... I LOVED seeing the DCU onscreen... and couldn't DISlike it...
but I can't say it had any of the other JL and Supes/Bats team up movies
beat at all.... could be the DCU movie I liked the least of all of them, actually.

But, I must stress that I still enjoyed it regardless.
