Just finished watching this with the boy. I enjoyed it a lot. A little grimmer than most, but given that it was based on "Tower of Babel" by Mark Waid and Howard Porter, which was a downer to begin with, I expected that.
Nice to hear most of the JLU voice cast returning (with Tim Daly back as Superman instead of George Newburn). There were some surprises in character selection along the way. The villains' ultimate plot is a nice call back to one of the better JLU episodes.
The animation style was similar to Crisis on Two Earths and Young Justice, but maybe a little more anime. I would have rather seen a more Timm-like look, but it didn't bother me much. Superman and Wonder Woman looked a little weird at times, but I can live with it.
I'd recommend it to any DC fanboy, and especially fans of JL/JLU. Nice dedication to Dwayne McDuffie at the end, as this was the last thing he wrote before his untimely passing. He delivered the goods as always.
