Avengers 3 3/4 inch figure reviews

Here is a review from someone who purchased some of the movie figures coming out. The overall conclusion suggested Hasbro was cutting costs on articulation, but didn't feel inclined to cut the sticker shock for the customer. Nearly $10.00? Are you freakin' kidding me? The tradition of overpriced, cheaply made, movie figures continues.

I bought five of 'em yesterday at TRU, and they're getting returned.

I don't feel they're worth $10. Not happy with the quality at all. They're not even entirely movie accurate. Captain America for example, has ears. The new mask covers them completely. I think they just reused the comic version head on him. Thor and Iron Man appear to be straight up repaints of last year's figures. The metallic red paint is terrible on Iron Man. Full of runs and smudges that weren't visible until I opened him. There's no way these five pathetic lumps of plastic were worth $53 with tax.

I saw the 12 inchers at a local TRU yesterday and was largely underwhelmed with them. I may pick up the IRON MAN and THOR figures once the prices start heading south on them....
