    Final Crisis TPB?

I know a lot of the crossover titles were completely messed up by this and continuity was a cluster f. All that aside, is this a decent, stand-alone story? I love Doug Mahnke's art, so I considered picking this up. If I can get it for fifteen dollars shipped is that a deal or should I pass it up? I was totally on the fence with War of the Lanterns TPB and it ended up being a terrific read, one of the best in years for me.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

Its a great read that takes more than 20 minutes and makes you think a bit to put the puzzle together. Does it include Superman Beyond 1&2? They are pretty essential to the story. Its worth the price of admission just to see Talky Tawny kick Kalibak's ***.

Sounds like the Marvel Family is represented well here adn also went against convention and went out of the box. I'll have to grab this.

I enjoyed it and I think it's probably a better read as a collection than in serial format. The art's nice. But there are a lot of folks who didn't like it at all.

It has some great ideas and high points but in the end I don't want to have to piece things together like T-bolt mentioned...just tell me the freakin' story without getting all cerebral on me. I felt a lot of it was a bunch of disjointed thoughts strung together with pretty pictures...

I enjoy a story that makes me think a bit, the chaos of the storytelling was reflecting the chaos of the actual story, and got more nuts as it got closer to the big bang. I haven't done it yet, but I suspect if all of Morrison's DCU work is looked at as a whole its all part of one big story, JLA, Seven Soldiers, Batman and FC.

                  What he said !

To Me this story is a mess and confusing and not worth the time.
