2nd Spiderman Trailer

Until seeing the trailer, I wasn't really excited about the movie. It's turned me around. The Spidey trailer is the best of the 3 super hero trailers, to me.

I loved the scene with Spidey in the back seat of the car giving the crook grief. To me, if anything was missing from the Rami films were Spidey's snarky banter.

That is my one criticism of Maguire's performance. He's vocal inflections just didn't portray the smart-arse comments Spidey makes to mask his fear and boost his confidence.

I did like the scene in the car. That was cool.

Ultimate Flash Thompson seems to be an influence here as well in the trailer.

Less so with Ultimate Lizard. I think's he's taking much more of a Norman Osborn style role in this film. Although, since this is set in Oscorp, they might have a reboot Green Goblin in the wings... hopefully not the hulked out Ultimate version.

I think the films will always be a blend of all the different Spider-man approaches. This time it certainly appears they are using some influence from the Ultimate universe. But I think the core of the story will still pull from the classic Spider-man myth.

My issue as always with these is that we have to see the actor in the suit with his mask off more than on. When you sign up for one of thes movies realize that the mask comes with the costume.
