Oddly enough, the first merchandise I've seen with the new costume is "Amazing Spider-Man Fruit Snacks". I'm pretty sure they are the exact same fruit snacks from before, they just put the new guy in the new suit on the box. The movie logo font is almost exactly the same as the Raimi flicks. My kids brought home a box this weekend.

Well he sometimes had yellow eyes in the comics, all though for a big-screen adaptation I would go with the silver eyes, but that's just me. I do like the tease for the Lizard. Though his head seems human to me, I'll just wait until they release a non blacked-out picture before judging.

I'm probably in the extreme minority a usual, but I really like the overall design. The yellow eyes do throw it off and should be white/silver. The rest is pretty cool to me. I like the glove detailing. I have little doubt the movie will be crap, but I thought the same before I saw First Class, and it ended up being my favorite superhero movie last year. Yellow eyes gotta go, though.

All I can say is YEEEEEEEE-UCCK!!! Those action figures suck (IMHO). That is one exciting background for Spidey on the first picture! Watch out, Spidey, that window air conditioner is gonna attack you!!!

The suit looks even worse in toy form than on film.

As much of a Spidey fan as I am, I think this is one film I will be passing on. Probably permanently...

I was thinking the same thing! That freaked me out as a kid.

His eyes are yellow on the fruit snack box I mentioned too. I double-checked after posting here.
