Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise is one of the biggest in the world, was it intimidating jumping on board for The Dark Knight Rises?

It was so cool, I had an amazing time. I got to travel to places I’d never been to before. Christopher Nolan is so nice, so is Christian Bale. I just had the best time.

What’s your role in that film?

I play young Talia al Ghul. I can’t give too much away because I promised Mr. Nolan I wouldn’t say anything. There are too many secrets about the character and the movie.

The thing I find the most funny is that she promised him she wouldn't say anything, and yet she just name-dropped a character that nobody new would even be in the film. Lol.

I think it's been a pretty open secret in the rumoursphere that Talia's in the film before this young girl let it out of the bag. It will be interesting to see who is revealed as the grown up Talia... Marion Cotillard has been cast as "Marion Tate".

And....Liam Neeson has been spotted on the set.

Not only was Neeson leaked as being in this, but there was an actor revealed to be young Ra's as well, so this all makes sense.

And yes, it looks like Nolan will be playing up the relationship between Bane and Ra's set up during the "Legacy" crossover of the late 90s.

Now, with all of these actors playing characters other than what has been revealed, is the Levit-as-Robin/Nightwing/Grayson rumor true or not?

I kind of hope that one stays a secret until opening day!

I'd assumed all along that Talia would be in it, but I don't buy the Levitt rumors one bit.

As grounded as Nolan's Batmanverse is, I can't see anyway for a Robin to fit into it, quite frankly. I guess I wouldn't mind an appearance by Dick Grayson (as long as he's not the basic kind of arrogant prick that he was in Batman Forever), but I just can't see introducing the character and his alter-ego in the Batman universe (be it Robin or Nightwing) in one movie. I think it would be overkill....

Since this movie is supposedly set 8 years after DK, Dick could have come and gone as Robin, and they could only reference his past, and not show it. I doubt all of this is true, but Nolan did pull a fast one on us with Ra's Al Ghul so...

Nolan has already said he wouldn't do a film with the Robin character in it. So I wouldn't be too terribly worried about that. And it's been known for some time that Ra's Al Ghul would return. There's even been shots of what appears to be the Lazarus pit. That for me pretty much confirms at some point Wayne will get his back broken. They'll need that as a "quick" story vehicle to restore him.

I don't think DKR is being released in 3D, just regular and in non-3D Imax.

Yeah, the Ducard/Ras twist was simply terrific... Even the most die hard Batfans are willing to overlook it's liberties to the comic book incarnations. It's to Nolan's credit that he cherry picks the comics and creates something original and unique every time.

Batman Year 1 is hardly Batman Begins, but the heart of the essential characters created are present, particularly Oldan's Grdon. Ditto Denny oNeal's Ras and Sam Hamm's Ducard. And a definitive scarecrow we haven't quite seen anywhere else before. Brilliant mash-ups that might now have actually worked given how much he crams in.

Here's the other possibility from what we've seen in the trailers... Selena Kyle/Catwoman might actually be Talia! Why else would she be parroting "occupy" rhetoric and helping take down Gotham? This was Ras' plan after all.
