I don't own Poison Ivy, but around the time of her release is when the 13" DCDs started to look like uninterested cosplayers. I think they were trying to go less cartoony and more realistic like Hot Toys, but realistic doesn't mean bored in line at the concession stand at Chicago-Con.

And no, Black Canary never wore a mask in the Silver Age. But remember the SA BC was originally the GA BC. She ditched the mask by her second or third appearance in Johnny Thunder's Flash Comics strip.

I agree largely with the comments made here, but they are both fairly nice figures for the somewhat low-end market of collectors who can't afford to drop the coin on the stuff Hot Toys puts out....

It's a shame that the DCD 13" figures aren't compatible with other 12" 1/6th scale figures.... There is some great stuff there to customize and kit bash.

It would be cool to take a Hot Toys Black Widow and stick her in the poison ivy outfit.
