Always good to see some classic Ditko!sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon. -

I know many were more or less implosion victims back in the day, but I"m glad that a few of them are now considered classic characters.
I mean back in the day, did you ever think that some of these guys would get action figures? Let alone cartoon TV appearances? Hopefully Ditko gets cheques for them.

Ditko, from what I understand, is something of a recluse. Would've been great to have had a commentary from both he and Stan Lee on the first Spider-Man DVD....sigpic Oh then, what's this? I think Odd Man is really the only one that got the shaft with the DC Implosion...I think his original appearance ended up being in "Cancelled Comics Cavalcade", but it was eventually reprinted elsewhere. I really don't think DC has done much, if anything, with the character since then...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Ditko doesn't do interviews, so it doesn't surprise me that he just submitted artwork for that "Profiles" piece...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Really sad that 3 Ditko stories were in this one... shade, creeper and Oddman as Anthony mentioned.

I think the Creeper story was supposed to be in "Showcase"...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

There was a great article on Vixen with the unpublished CCC art in the cat themed Back Issue magazine.
Just goes to show how really deep JLU got in both the show and action figures into the DC character library. probably further than DC Direct's 6-7" line. Was it primarily Dwayne McDuffie writing Vixen on JLU?
the new JLU inspired costume is certainly a far cry from the original.
