    DAMN.

That is a VERY effective trailer. Folks thinking Nolan couldn't deliver a sequel to equal DK should be shut up by now.

Anyone catch the "R" in the sign for the Rogue's football team?

Watched it a couple of times and still had trouble catching what Bane says to Bruce Wayne, but FINALLY figured it out. Something about Bane's appearance is really familiar to me (meaning he resembles a character from another movie), but I can't put a finger on who it is.

I'm still up in the air regarding Hathaway as Catwoman---can't figure the angle she's coming from. As long as she fills out a skintight bodysuit well, I guess that'll make the hornier fanboys happy.

I did catch the "R" in the crowd scene at the football game. Did you happen to notice that the name of [seemingly] the only player to escape the collapse of the football field was "Ward"? Tip of the hat to Burt Ward as Robin or a tip of the hat to Bruce Wayne HAVING a young ward named Dick Grayson? Maybe a bit of both...?

It's got me interested, but not fully hooked yet....

Or it just happens to be Hines Ward of the Steelers? the football part was filmed with the team at Pittsburgh's field.

Call me jaded but I wasn't impressed at all...I'm getting tired of Nolan's vision of the Bativerse. "Begins" was OK, "Dark Knight" was phenomenal, "Rises" doesn't look too exciting to me yet. I'm not a fan of Bane as the main antagonist. Still not sold on Hathaway as Catwoman. Hopefully I'm wrong about this movie...

I love the looks of this movie and can't wait to see it. But I can't help but wonder about that sinister, eerie chant that's going on in the trailer. Plus, this movie is supposed to be an ending of some sort. That's the part I'm curious about. I just can't imagine Bruce Wayne hanging up the cape and retiring. I also think the R in Rouges was indeed a nod to Robin since he will never come to exist in this version of Batman.
                    Cheers.

I'm a real fan of the past two movies, not the greatest of all time but well thought out and pretty solid movies. I'm looking forward to the third but I have reservations, I hope it doesn't become a political rant. First hearing that they were going back to New York to film scenes with the occupy movement protesters, then hearing "catwoman" give what sounds like a quote from the occupy protesters about the richest one percent.
Other than that possibility, I'm geeked.

Nolan's Bat flicks are the best comic-book superhero flicks ever alongside Superman 1 & 2...and I personally can't wait...I'll be there...and will see it several times (unlike the previous superhero flicks)...

Based on that it really could go either way. I'm neither thrilled or disappointed. Not sure what to think. Side note: That is Hines Ward of the Steelers.

Nolan has made two great films, so I'm sure this will follow suit. I just cannot get excited by what I've seen so far.

Good call on the R and Ward, guys...the team is also yellow...had it been green/red as well...that would've been super sweet too.
