Seeing that bums me out. It would have been AMAZING! I think his face should have been a shade greener though.

I too think that make up / mask is awesome but honestly I don't think it would have worked as well as the final product considering the rest of the look of the movie. Too cartoony when compared to the rest of the costume, sets, etc...

Yes, but the shade greener might have looked cartoony. Do we assume that is a mask he wears as the goblin? Even tho Osborne's mouth seems to be real? Or a Dr. Jeckyl transformation/deformation after using the serum?

Well, the rumor was in the early script...was that the formula would actually transform him into a Goblin...and then back to human again of course.

At the time I wasn't sure how I felt about that. But Sam Rami's stance was that it would make no sense from Norman to just go and put on a Halloween costume.

Well, sort of. The idea behind the awful suit was that it was connected to the glider...with out it, he wouldn't be able to fly the Glider.

Wow, I'm so glad they decide to go for the Power Ranger look instead. Kidding of course. Minus needing to be a bit greener, this is sooooo much awesomer and truer to the real Goblin. Gahhhhh

Wow... This is one case where I would wholehearted support Raimi if he wanted to go back and "lucus" the original film back to his original vision. It would make a great film just about perfect.

I wish they would film that broadway show. I really would like to see it (without the travel).
To many have been hurt performing it though.

The Hulk Goblin in Ultimate Spiderman makes so much more sense now given that USM launched to capitalize on the movie. It was the one aspect of Ultimate Spiderman that always felt wrong to me, and the one change that I wished they could have avoided.

They could have done a transformation without hulking him out, although given the tight continuity of The Ultimates, it made sense at the time since everyone in the Ultimates community at the time was in a race to recreate the Super Soldier formula. So you had Banner, Osborne, Pym etc all with their fingers in the genetic pie at the same time.

You,ve got such an expressive actor in Defoe, it makes absolutely no sense to cover that face up when makeup and latex would do such a better job in bringing the character to life.

That's the Joker wearing his Creature Halloween costume. The actor from Smallville is playing Spider-man on stage now?
