I remember seeing a similar still of the Green Goblin mask test in an issue of Cinefex back in 2002.

Yes, that would have been so much better.

Imagine how much cooler the scenes with Spidey and GG interacting in the movie would have been had they used that prosthetic. It would have been... amazing.

I guess the whole armored suit thing made more sense from a "crazed weapons manufacturer" story perspective, but aesthetically, that rubber mask is incredible.

Hooooooly Crap!!!! Why oh why isn't THAT what we saw on the screen instead of the Robo-Goblin!!! That would have played sooooo much cooler.

You know why?

Likely because Sony's Marketing Dept. looked at it and were puzzled as to how to make a toy out of it when the Power Ranger Goblin was so much easier.

Sad. Would've loved to have seen this on the big screen....
