all I know that Dark Knight Rises and Christopher Nolan better win Best Picture and Best Director in 2013 ,he still gets no respect from the Academy but they are a joke anyways I guess?

Prologue : The Dark Knight Rises (6 premières minutes)

Saw the prologue on Imax the other night and it's an incredible piece of film production. Bane's voice is brilliant but occasionally garbled to my ears. I'll be heading back to Imax to see it when it's released that for sure.

When exactly is this prologue showing?

I've hunting around trying to piece it together, from what I understand this was only being shown before the first screening of Mission:Impossible in Imax in select theatures. The impression I got is they're not showing this anymore.

Can anybody clarify whether they're still showing this before Imax screenings of M:I? If it is, where can I find a list of the "select" theatures that are showing this?

I don't remember where I saw a list, but there is one out there somewhere. Try batmanonfilm or superheroehype. It is only at select IMAX theaters. I live in NY, and I know the one in Nyack at the palisades mall has it.

Ran out to watch the IMAX preview in front of Mission Impossible on Friday. Loved it on the big big big screen... My only complaint is that even with the superior sound technology, I could,nt understand a darn thing Bane was saying. I hope they fix this given the decision of Bale's I need a throat lozenge approach to Batman's voice, this movie is going to need subtitles in the scenes where Bane and bats are talking at each other. It't like trying to understand the idea men in the tick cartoon.

I agree that there is a strong chance that the academy might finally recognize Nolan and this latest Batman trilogy... It's like Peter Jackson finally getting his due after completing his third lord of the rings film.
