    Hmmmm....

It looks REALLY typical for 1970's cartoons. Weird how they replaced the ship with a generic looking rocket: a saucer would have been a LOT easier to animate. And equally weird that they replaced the robot's voice with the generic 70's robot one.

It made the airwaves at least once.

I used to sell this when I was a video dealer in college, I've probably seen it close to a thousand times thanks to playing it at shows. Now I sort of like it...

I have that cartoon. I like it. While it's not the LIS we know, Jonathan Harris (RIP) did lend his voice to it, so Dr. Smith and his "Smith-isms" are in that show, which makes it funny.

Interesting that they jettisoned the nuclear family aspect of it that has been central to very other version, including the 2004 live action pilot.

(that's Wonder Woman Adrianne Palecki as Judy Robinson)

Robot aside, I have to admit that the theatrical movie version with Gary Oldman s a guilty pleasure and would have like to have seen mre from that particular cast.

and it had a pretty kickin' soundtrack by a440

Just to tie it into the forum section it's posted under... we all know about the Space Family Robinson situation right? That it predated the TV show.

My problem with the cartoon is this whole redesign and they should have picked up where the live action series ended if they had it might have been a hit or at least equal the Star Trek animated series

One the comic book front i like the Gold Key/Whitman comics i had a few back in the day
