Superman: Requiem - Official Website ,not hade time to watch this yet ,but figured it would kill a hour and 22 minuites , for you guys waiting for the postman to deliver your hot toys superman
blecch, couldn't even get thru the trailer. They guy playing Supes looks like Squiggy. And you'd think Clark Kent would wear shirts that wouldn't be light enough to see the big S thru.
You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks
It wasn't bad, actually. Lots of problems with the story and some of the artistic choices:
Why is Superman wearing heavy eye shadow? Why is the S on his costume so screwy?
Why does Alex Luthor use the Ransom Note font in a letter to Superman, but then sign it?
Property ownership records are public, so why does Alex Luthor need Superman to tell him where his dad's land is?
I thought it was entertaining enough in spite of the problems, especially for a fan film. I just wish they would have worked on the story a little more.
I havent sat down in actually watched it yet. Just bits and pieces of it. I always admire it when someone really tries to make a film. Ive seen some real good Starwars fan films. One thing i wish would happen would be alot of fans financing a fan film with a professional comics writer/artist in charge of it. I guess the closest will be Frank Miller, Dave Stevens, and a few others. Really i want something that fans would have a little more say into how its made, along with the professional overseeing it.
