I'd say Dark Avengers are a rebranded Thunderbolts, back to Busiek's original concept of villains disguised as heroes.

Wonder Man's Revengers are just an attempt to make the D-list Avengers interesting... Astonishing to have D-man show up yet again.

Not far off, that is Pete wisdom, Marvel's knock off of John Constantine.

I really do feel that the standard MU is beginning to crumble under it's own weight. Moreso than even DC was when the first Crisis wiped out the multiverse. Since the late 60s, Marvel has had characters assume multiple identities, costumes, etc. Moreso than DC up to that point, and several decades beyond. 40 solid years of that leave you with a universe that is just mind-bogglingly dense and almost impossible to penetrate. They really DO need a reboot.

The Secret Avengers are cool because they were put together and are guided by Steve Rogers as a sort of "black ops" Avengers team designed to operate mostly undercover in addition to the regular Avengers.
