    Just Saw "Capt America"...

I know these are Marvel Comics, but was the flying red car the original Batmobile?

I figured it was a prototype of the SHIELD flying cars from the comics -- made me hopeful we'll see them in The Avengers.

I finally saw it on DVD for the first time ever. What a great movie! Really enjoyed it from beginning to end including the WWII style color of the film. My sons who really don't like Superhero movies per se both really enjoyed it as well.

Cap is an excellent movie. The first super hero movie in many years that really got my inner 10 year old going. I wanted to grab my shield and go running across a field, jumping over stuff afterward.

I'm still basking in the afterglow, but I'd rank it right up there after the first Superman movie and Nolan's Batman films.

I haven't bought a Superhero movie since the Dark Knight but I want Cap on Blue Ray. Haven't checked the extras out, that's usually the deciding factor for me.

I bought it but haven't watched it yet. Too into the horror movies leading up to today. There is a new short featuring SHIELD agent Colson.

I have seen some of the extras....mostly just 5 minute clips of the comic book, various characters, special effects, etc. (I really enjoyed how they explained making Chris Evans look like a small non muscular guy without doing it Tom Hanks "Castaway" style). There are a few others that I haven't had a chance to watch yet. There is a trailer buried in there for "The Avengers" movie. I definitely will watch it again and it looks great on Blu-ray.

I'm going to wait until the Black Friday sales start rolling before I pick it up.

I watched it over the weekend and enjoyed it. I really appreciate Chris Evans talent. While I am a big fan of the Fantastic Four flicks I really saw him as Captain American more so than Johnny Storm playing Captain America. I'd recommend this one.

I love this movie. After all the years of men portrayed as idiots and children with facial hair, it's very good to see a good man in a movie.
                      Hey! Check out the pictures.

The sincerity of the character, and his presentation is just refreshing. It's very similar to Chris Reeve's (and Richard Donner's) take on Superman. Johnston totally made up for the slight misfire of the Wolfman remake in my opinion.
