    Metamorpho and his arch-villain

Does Metamorpho have someone who is considered his arch-enemy? If so, who or what is he/she?

    Thanks,

    Ausitn

Yeah,.. On the Justice League cartoon, wasn't that his bride to be's dad that made him that way. Is that how it was in the comics ?

I'd go with Simon Stagg, Java, or there was also a Scorpion knockoff called Stingaree.

          Great info guys.

Anybody have any good, clear images of these goons?

How about this GI Joe intruder head for Java?

          Thanks,

          Austin

I think Simon Stagg is definitely his arch-villian.

Problem is that he's not really that visually interesting as a character. No real costume and abilities as far as I can remember.

I was just reading the copy of Absolute Sandman I got for Christmas.

You know who would make a really good custom figure?

Samurai definitely nailed it. Stagg's the archenemy, and Java's the henchman. They'd both be easy customs -the toughest parts (especially with that Joe head you found) would be Stagg's noggin and a suit to fit Java (who'd have to have a Hulk/Thing body).

Of course, you also can't forget about Sapphire Stagg, Simon's daughter and Metamorpho's love interest. Definitely not a foe, but a very important character.

I love the fact that Stagg is his girlfriend's father.

One of my favourite Metamorpho storylines was his reunion with Sapphire during the Giffen era Justice League Europe. There he learned that he was the father of Sapphire's baby, and the ending with Simon Stagg left the door open to some interesting possibilities for future storylines (did they ever follow up on his baby being raised by Simon?)

Not really. IIRC, the baby was never seen (or maybe even mentioned) again.
