Just got done watching B:YO on DVD and I gotta say, it did hew pretty closely to the book. I enjoyed the heck out of it. THIS is The Batman I'd like to see translated to film----all shadowy and agile, WITH the white eyes. That's part of what makes Batman scary---that fact that you can't SEE his eyes so you don;t know what's going on behind that mask. Plus, this movie makes me still say I prefer Keaton's Batman to Bale's Batman. Far more, IMHO, loyal to the spirit of the character....

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon. -
I feel asleep watching this ..., didn't even make it very far.
Gotta try again I suppose ....
Saw the Behind the scene's for The JL Doom toon ...., More my Speed .
I read the Year one books ...., and I liked the story for the most part, not 1 of my favorites out there by any means.
If this is the total new direction of taking the Films, from a particular comicbook story, or series, I hope they get into some stuff I am really in to.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

got the cheapo no frills dvd yesterday haven't watched it yet, but I know WB is not tricking me into buying any of the "bonus" junk anymore. I can do without Bruce Timm's bulbous head yammering on about Batman for a half hour again. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment
