Krypto is a horribly dated concept. Even as a child I thought he was lame. I guess he has his fans, and that's fine. I just never understood the appeal of a Kryptonian dog.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment

it appears that the current powers that be at DC are feeling the same way.
It's fine if they are doing away with the concept in the DCU monthlies. I'm just a bit wary of them going the Miracledog route. At that point I think Alan Moore would have a legitimate gripe about them picking through the refuse bins of his imagination.
At least Krypto is still around in the Tiny Titans/Super Pets universe. It really is a kid friendly concept.

I like Krypto. I think he's cute. The concept is really out there for sure. I can accept it though. I have a problem with them adding the cat, the horse, and the monkey. Then it's just too much.Comment

I think Paul Dini and co did a good job on the cartoon for the younger kids that are probably too young for even brave and bold. Ace the Bathound teamed with Streaky was a fun episode.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see him back in Morrison's Action Comics. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I'm with you completely on everything you just wrote. I think the Jimmy Olsen stories are kind of trite, too, but don't think they should do away with the kid. I guess I'm saying I feel Krypto is about as important as Jimmy Olsen to the Superman mythos or Bat-Mite would be to Batman. They're nice in extremely small quantities.Comment
