Interesting, he's a good actor and an impressive size to be menacing.

I know Michael Ironside would look ridiculous on screen but I always loved him as Darkseid.

I'm in 100 percent agreement. WB could have straight up adapted John's Braniac arc for the big screen. That is one of my favorite Supes stories ever written. I suppose they still could, but we're looking at 2015 at the earliest.

hmm, wonder if its the human host Darkseid ala Seven Soldiers and Final Crisis, before he was in Dan Turpin's body he looked a lot like Duncan.

If that's true, that is great news. The first sign that this movie isn't just a retread of the first two Chris Reeve movies.

I agree Johns' Brainiac arc would have been a fantastic movie. It even reads like a movie.

In addition to Brainiac, Darkseid would be another choice of mine for villain. So much potential there.
