    Bruce Banner: Super Model

Uh, I'm not sure about this. Not exactly the best picture leading off the promotional campaign for Avengers. What the hell is Ruffalo doing? I've read comparisons to Zoolander's Blue Steel. See for yourself.

yeah, saw that the other day, terrible pic especially for a publicity photo for a superhero movie that wants to be taken seriously.

think he is supposed to be brooding...he is a great actor so we will see how he does with this....would have preferred Norton though, he did such a fantastic job in Banner

He looks more like he's trying to play the vampire role in Fright Night. Bruce Banner has never been sinister looking like that.

If it's an EW photo, they kind of go for that "movie character as a model" look, which is kind of weird, really.

I can't really say I remember seeing Ruffalo in anything. I'm sure he's a fine actor, but I was looking forward to Norton and Downey Jr sparring back and forth.

Ruffalo will certainly be different from Norton, who is great, but I think he'll make a good Banner. Ruffalo's a fine actor who has good range. As always, the script is the big thing. I really don't like what I'm reading about them putting it together on the fly while shooting, but I respect Whedon, particularly as a writer, and Downey Jr. evidently has a lot of say with the script, too. He's a smart talented guy, but still. Either way, they've got my $8.50, probably twice.

Yeah, I read that, too, and it made me pause. Isn't that supposed to be a bad thing?
                  It's all good!

Hulk's been my fav since childhood. Don't like this guy, especially for this part. Should have been Olyphant if you need a handsome Banner that can act.

                    The best choice ever?

Ruffalo is from my hometown (Kenosha, WI). He gave props to Kenosha on Letterman and still comes back to visit.
