Yeah, and this time Scarlet Spider will probably be Spiderman's greatest foe. Cause you know, superheroes seem to need a villain that knows them, has the same powers but is evil etc. Let's see, Reverse Flash, Jason Todd, Venom, Carnage, Red Skull (cloned body of Steve Rogers) Sinestro, Bizarro and Black Adam to name a few! (Notice Spiderman already has / had Venom & Carnage) We shall see, but it is interesting that Marvel even wants to pull anything from the mess that was the clone saga! -
I guess they need a new evil doppleganger now that Flash Thompson is Venom (not a bad series thus far... Flash has inherited the Parker luck).
Although there is Anti Venom running around with the Avengers as well.
Don't know what happened to Kaine (yet another clone I think), or Six armed Spiderman Doppleganger that stuck around after the Infinity War.Comment

what does everyone have a leather jacket or overcoat on? The 90's was the decade of the clone and bad jackets over hero costumes
as far as the villian with identical powers, that WAY predates the 90's as you listed off some.
Reverse flash - Prof Zoom first appears in the 60's but technically the idea of the reverse flash actually dated to a Flash comics story in issue 104 1949 the late 40's THE RIVAL who was a Jay Garrick adversary
Black Adam - first appeared in 1945
Bizarro - 1958, nevermind the Phantom Zone escapees

The 90's were 20 years ago.... that's about how long it takes for nostalgia to kick in. (Hence all the Power Rangers refrences on the nerdly sites these days.) It's time for the next generation to lament the good ol' days. And I gotta say, I'm both scared and enthralled....
