Which DC creators will jump to Marvel?

There are rumblings of editorial interference causing some potential defections from DC to Marvel.

Marvel has snagged big names doing great work on their best selling books in recent years from DC. Mark Waid and Greg Rucka must have hurt after their star turns on the weekly 52. Ed Brubaker, Jason Aaron, Jeph Loeb, Mark Millar were all snagged from DC after coming off acclaimed work.

Any predictions? Paul Jenkins, JMS and Paul Cornell have all come over from Marvel, and I'd really doubt they would jump back at this point given their high profile DC work currently.

If I were Marvel, I'd certainly target Paul Dini, but given his ties the larger Warner entity via animation, is that even likely? What if Marvel's new TV division led by Jeph Loeb dangled something in front of him... Show runner for an animated Marvel property?

Judd Winick has really upped his game lately, and would certainly be a bragging point for Marvel after some recent high profile projects such as JL Generation Lost, and the Jason Todd/Red Hood saga.

    Your predictions?

What is the editorial interference? Due to the relaunch?

Most of these creators have gone back and forth, which I've always liked. Maybe less so since the exclusive contracts came to be. I would like to see some cross-pollination.

With Loeb and Johns actually getting promotions into management, I doubt we'll see them jump back and forth, but I'm sure Waid and Rucka will work for DC again at some point. For Waid, Bob Harras might have to move along, but who knows.

But I'd love to see what Fraction and Hickman would do with some DC properties.

Heck, I'd love to see another JLA/Avengers team-up with Johns and Bendis writing and Lee and Epting or McNiven on the art.

Maybe Hickman and Morrison writing a Superman/FF team-up would be cool, too, with Perez and Merino on the art.

I know I've taken this way off subject, but I'd like to see a Dini-written JLA book. I really can't imagine what character he would tackle for Marvel, but I'd give it a shot.

A superman/FF like that would be mind-blowing. I can only imagine what a Morrison FF would be like.

I'd give Hickman the Doom Patrol or The New Gods. I'd swap Fraction and Johns on Green Lantern and Iron Man. Johns has stated he's got an iron Man pitch sitting in his back pocket.

The Bendis/Brabaker crossover of Batman/Daredevil would have been terrific.

Mark Millar of course has been bragging about his Superman pitch forever. Given how Morrison and Millar cross polLinated in the old days, I wonder if there are similarities.

Didn't Waid. Morrison and Millar pitch for Superman , but they were bypassed for Loeb, Joe Casey and whoever else was on Man of Steel in the late 90s-early 2000s?

I would like to see Waid do a run on Superman beyond Birthright.

I've never been a big fan of Millar.

I'd like to see what Brubaker would do with Green Arrow or maybe Birds of Prey.

Scott Snyder might be cool on Dr. Strange.

Two guys I'd like to see get some more mainstream work at Marvel or DC is Kurt Busiek and John Byrne. I know they are old school, but so am I.

Yeah. That was killed by editorial rivalry I believe (Eddie Berganza originally made the offer and was cut off at the knees?). The fourth member of the Waid/Morrison/Millar team was Tom Peyer who was getting some buzz on Hourman based on the Morrison Android version.

I think Mark Schultz and Joe Kelly rounded out Loeb and Casey?

Man, I never thought of a Morrison Fantastic Four, that would be mindblowing.

Perez is leaving Superman after issue 6 so he's available.

If I was still invested in DC I'd say I hope Scott Kollins jumps ship. He can have a suck-off with Romita for worst penciller/inker. They'd probably find an Avengers book for him to destroy.

As it is now, I just don't care. DC left me behind with little hope of rescue. Somebody send me a PM when they drop this reboot stuff please.
