Another take on the new Starfire.

    Spot on.

Shortpacked! by David Willis - Math

If DC honestly had wanted to go with the most popular mainstream version of Starfire they would have done the animated Teen Titans one.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Thanks so much for posting that. Why DC can't make compelling, all-ages appropriate material is beyond me.

The cartoon series was a love-hate thing for me.. I loved the resurgence of interest, loved the boundless energy, even the theme song. But it would have been much better to have it not me anime' in style, more truer to the Wolfman/Perez style.

I got tired of the style pretty quickly, but I know that was a big selling point to the series being done.

I've been watching some TT episodes again lately, and I find myself still liking it so much more than Young Justice. It was fun, but not always lighthearted. They dealt with some dark storylines (Trigon and Slade/Deathstroke in particular), but the characters were consistent and likable throughout.
