    Justice League comics in General Mills cereal boxes

    Now, this brings me back. An old-school comic/cereal promotion. I found a box of Trix yesterday with a Justice League comic inside. Not only that, but the box has a Batman mask to cut out on the back! There is an advertisement for the new Green Lantern animated series one on panel as well.

    Apparently there are 4 comics, all of which have covers by Dan Jurgens. The featured characters are Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman. The one I got in the Trix box was called "Unstoppable Forces" by Scott Beatty and Christian Duce. It involves the Shaggy Man. The stories continue at

    I'm also happy to report these are the classic versions of the characters. At least they live on somewhere!

      so, Wb still can't get all its promotional ducks in a row. Seems like this would have been a good way to promote the new 52 to a new audience. Tho, maybe not with Starfire's loose-ness.

              That's really cool. Are they full sized comics or mini comics?

                  i didnt know these were out, trix isnt my favorite cereal but i'll buy some just to get them,lol

                      The are about 1/3 the size of a normal comic. I haven't seen any others yet, but they're should be 4, probably spread across other Big G cereals.

                                          Hit 5 different grocery stores yesterday after work, nothing. Haven't looked at Walmart yet, have to check this weekend.
