      Yeah. I was amazed to see how prevalent Jungle comics were back in the golden age, and then how quickly they died out. I think part of the problem is that the darkest jungles aren't that mysterious any more, so the idea of a hero stalking through them isn't as inherently awesome as it once was. (How many kids would liken him to a nekkid Diego nowadays?)

        I think Tarzan was something kids played outside. I know I did with a girl next door I really liked. There was nothing like fighting off an imaginary lion for your favorite "Jane". My introduction to foreplay.

          I received my Tarzan DVD's today and the quality is actually quite good! I can play all the episodes on my 46 inch HDTV. So that's a pretty good measure right there.
