I am a HUGE Perez fan and have to say I don't like the cover. Who is inking him?? Doesn't even look like your typical Perez art. If that's what it looks like on the inside too...this will be the first Perez book that I am one and done. I haven't picked up my 1st issue at my comic store yet...but if that's how it looks I will definitely not be getting anything beyond issue 1.

And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
Wow I'm glad I wasn't the only one here thinking the above sentiments. I didn't even recognize that as Perez art. I'd be way more likely to pick up George's softcore porn fetish books before this tripe. And believe me, neither is getting purchased.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.
how is Perez healthwise? i heard before he has something wrong with his drawing hand that makes it hurt after awhile (kind of what happens when you type to much) forgot its name though. dont know if its true he has it though...
George has carpal tunnel syndrome. I have it too, and noticed the brace on his wrist a few years ago at a con. When I asked about it, he laughed and pointed to the cover for the JLA/Avengers crossover that had recently been released. Sometimes I see him wearing it, sometimes not. Otherwise, he seemed perfectly fine at DragonCon, cracking jokes and striking poses at the DC photo shoot.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
thanks for the info. he has a rep for being one of the most pleasant people you could meet thats in the biz
I've talked to him almost every time I go to the Pittsburgh Comicon. At DragonCon, I was walking toward him in my Ma Hunkel costume. He turned around and saw me, and gave me a big hug. Then he asked his friend to take a pic with him, my husband(as the Sandman) and I. We saw him hanging out in the after-hours, too.

Didn't know about George having Carpal Tunnel...but it still doesn't look like his work. It may be rough layouts by George, and I mean REALLY rough layouts, but it's not his complete pencils.
And yes, George is one of THE NICEST artists in the business. I would put George up there with Walt Simonson as the most nicest and genuine down to earth artists in the business.
