As much as I like Batman '66 and can enjoy it on many levels, I have to agree with you.

I remember liking superheroes then (still do), and all my friends became Star Wars snobs.

I mean, Star Wars is fun, but it's not Star Trek. (Uh-oh, I hear the brick-bats unsheathing.)

Yeah, I like the '66 Batman as well. But for all the good it did at the height of it's popularity, it caused almost irreversible damage to the industry in it's aftermath. And I doubt we will ever see it on DVD until all of the principle parties, including West, are dead. A lot of greed in that group of people.

id love to get these dvds ,but there unavailable in the uk ,anyone interested in selling thiers ,or maybe a rip with the extra features ,LMK cheers chris
