Yep, I still buy a newspaper everyday and came across an article on the DC Reboot of Static Shock in today's NY Daily News. Found it also on line...so here it is if anyone is interested in reading it:

I was stunned when I read that Dwayne McDuffie had died this year. Anyone know the story of how he died?

Milestone had some really good titles in Static and Xombi.

Complications during a routine surgery... Absolutely tragic.

I really admired the man. He did live to FINALLY see a Static action figure, one of his sore points. Hopefully DC does well by his creations.

This is one title i am looking forward to. i didn't read the Milestone stuff , but loved the cartoon and his inclusion into the Titans, where he should have stayed. Why are writers so scareed of a team with more than 5 to 7 characters and even then they can't handle them all? i do want to try and get all his old stuff.

Damage Control is quite a fun read. The Beyond mini is also a nice contained series to check out.

Nice to see it, co-writer John Rozum is a nice guy.

Scott McDaniel is a great guy as well. This is one book I'll be getting each month.
