    Loonatics Unleashed

I have to admit that I am late to discovering this. It's truly a bizarre mashup of Loonie Tunes, The Justice League, Batman Beyond and anime. Even recycling all the old gags from Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck et al.

I saw it a couple of times. For me it was still all about the Coyote and the Runner.

Weren't they suppose to be the grandkids of the originals or something like that?

That makes sense since it takes place in the future and all the Loony Toons characters have slightly modified names... ie) Melvin the Martian.

I'm pretty disinterested in most of the episodes that feature generic villains, and there is some small novelty in the ones that do have the future version of Yosemite Sam, or Sylvester the Cat as the bad guys.

Liked the Porky Pig episode. Still trying to find one with Elmer Fudd.

            Hmmmm....

I remember when it came out. It was pretty blah. The Duck Dodgers series from the same time was more entertaining.

There was a massive public outcry against this when announced. It was pretty bad. That god-awful "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get A Clue" series was actually worse. And for some reason, Eric Radomski of BTAS was the main producer of that show.

"What's New Scooby-Doo" before it, and "Mystery, Incorporated" after it are far, FAR better follow-ups to Scooby.

To be fair, it seems to be something my niece and nephew enjoy watching, so can't be too harsh with it. they love both superheroes and loony toons on the retro channel, so this mashup is right up their alley.
