I just find it difficult to believe they are starting another series while Shazam and Booster Gold are cast aside.

DC doesn't know what to do with the Shazam concept anymore...However Booster Gold was a solid read since his relaunch, with the exception of issues by Giffen and DeMatteis...

Booster does appear to be central to Justice League International, with his creator Dan Jurgans at the helm, so I don't quite think he's really cast aside like Donna Troy for example. Sad as it is to say, Ted Kord catching the Skull bullet was probably the best thing to happen to the character of Booster given how his popularity has skyrocketed since then. He's pretty much been an ongoing presence in many of the non-lantern centric crossover events ever since. He's also been a monthly headliner in 52, his own title, generation lost, not to mention his appearances in Brave and Bold and Smallville.

I think it's safe to say that Booster is a character that DC wants to keep pushing.


Was anyone reading our own Mego Milk's SHAZAM series? I hope it comes back to Johnny DC in some form or another.

I'm a big Hawkman fan and I have to at least check this out before I pass on it. I don't think any of the reboot stuff is going to be worth a ****.
