    Who Knows What Evil Lurks...?

The Shadow returns to comics! Thanks to Dynamite. I didn't realize it's been since '95 that the Shadow has had a comic series.

I hope there's some caliber of talent behind this besides just the covers...some of the stuff from Dynamite is mediocre at best....

I'm probably one of the few that enjoyed Chaykin's spin on the Shadow at DC many years ago...

and later when Kyle Baker was on the book

you're not alone Loved the Chaykin Mini and when Baker did the book really dug his style.

Nice Ross cover but I'm the same about the dynamite books the interior art always disappoints me.....

With them it's always like they spend all the budget on the cover which draws the buyer and since all the money is spent for the cover they can then only afford a second tier artist

Wonder if this is why DC couldn't get him for the First Wave project. Dynamite is all flash and little substance, so not very excited about this.

This is how I discovered the character. Loved both series and the kaluta hardback graphic novel that came out around the same time. The two justice Inc prestige issues are hugely underrated.

I'm really hoping it's Garth Ennis that they have writing The Shadow. dynamite doesn't really have a broad stable of top writing talent, though their cover artists are of course exceptionally A-list.

I was actually hoping the would turn over Lone Ranger to Ennis.

I enjoyed the Kyle Baker series, too. I think I'll go back and read them now.
