^ I think I had heard that the Robin license was tied up by Nabisco...Meanwhile it was Keebler that sponsored the first drug comics, thus the creation of The Protector

Yeah,George Perez drew Robin, then found out about the conflict and redrew Protector over Robin. then after the comic came out Nabisco said they would have signed off on using Robin if "ONLY THEY WERE ASKED".
