^ See that last cover is the "modern" Adams and I'm just not digging it as much as the older stuff...

No kidding. Look at the differences in his Hulks. I like the older style but the newer one looks like he's slobbering all over the place.

Ok - lots of great older stuff and some decent newer stuff........I still hate that picture. Maybe you experts can break it down and see the Adams' bones, but I can't. My analysis is overly simple - I either like it or I don't. I wouldn't think the one with Robin was Neal Adams either.

                  Not impressed.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

I was never an Adams fan to begin with. Nothing against him. His old art is brilliant. I think I have a copy of Ms. Mystic from PC comics. It's just he largely abandoned comics in the early 1980's. I think more highly of him for fighting DC to get compensation for the creators of Superman. If anyone tells me Neal Adams is on a new title my reaction is just: Big Whoop!

As big of a fan as I am, I can't enjoy he new stuff nearly as much as his classic work. It's like your favorite musician/band from childhood ot teen years still making music. It's just not nearly the same even if there is still quality in the material. Some of the new pieces are very good, like Hawkeye and Daredevil. The rest is uninspiring.

I never liked Adams on Avengers in the first place...

I picked up ish 93 about 20 years ago with the Kree War and his rendition never did anything for me. Love him on JLA, but Marvel titles..?? I skip 'em.

I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Ed usually backs up his points; I just don't agree w/this one. Got any more pics ED

Nah, I think Ed has some form of comic book OCD anyway. Most of the threads in this forum alone are started by him. They should just let him be the Comics Mod.

I don't think I've actually expressed much of an opinion in this thread, although I think it's obvious I like his old stuff. I actually am really indifferent to his new stuff and don't think it's up to par either.

I'm just posting different pics because it does make for interesting conversation to compare and contrast Adams now and then. If you guys want to stop chatting about it, makes no difference to me one way or another.

I'd never want to Mod. The stuff Steve, Scotts and Brian have to put up with! Oy vey. I can barely contain my own lunacy, let alone all of it that runs through these message boards.
