DC is catching up to Marvel

Marvel has had their fair share of stumbling blocks too.

Elektra. Punisher War Zone. Although Ghost Rider was successful enough after home videe/cable that they are making a second one with Nick Cage.

I'm sure all these movies, relative to their budgets port well enough overseas, DVD/Blueray/itunes etc and on cable to eventually break even or better even if they are considered fails amongst fans and critics.

We should just acknowledge the successful Marvel franchise that kick it all off for them and probably one of the least known characters in the Marvel universe at that time, Blade!

True, but besides the missteps with The Hulk, they've all been B,C or D-listers....Whereas in DC's corner for example, they've had various Wonder Woman proposals and options for the last 20 years now...And still nothing has come of it..

Superman's big screen flicks really boil down to Superman:The Movie and Superman II (which were released 30+ years ago)...everything else has been lackluster and hasn't carried the torch like they were supposed to (III, IV and Returns)...If anything, Superman has done better on the small screen in the last 25 years.
