None of the Chris Reeve movies or that pretend one with Brandon Routh. Also interesting that most did not mention Smallville.

Number one for me would have to be SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE because as much as Burton's BATMAN was the portal to what we enjoy today, Donner's SUPERMAN was and always will be THE super-hero movie to me, maybe because it came out when I was younger and more impressionable or maybe because Christopher Reeve just managed to encapsulate everything that makes Superman Superman so well. No matter how many times I hear the score the SUPERMAN, whenever I hear the opening chords, I gets goosebumps.

SUPERMAN II comes in second because it showed us that you can have a knock-down, drag out fight between super beings and pull it off realistically.

The Fleisher cartoons come in next as they are iconic as hell and the classic George Reeves series comes in next for me.

The animated SUPERMAN was pretty good [though I don't think it was ever quite as good as the BATMAN animated series].

LOIS AND CLARK is next on my list [Dean Cain's Superman was pretty well-done for television] and then comes SMALLVILLE just because it put an entirely different bent on the Superman mythology.

SUPERMAN RETURNS comes in next [bad as it was], simply due to the fact that Superman's III and IV were sooooo bad.

I think that about covers it for me....!
