Anyone See the "New" Superman?

I noticed the first picture from the new Superman movie posted online and I must say it sucks just as bad as the new Spidey costume.

Also read they have Laurence Fishburne playing Perry White? Casting him as Perry White makes as much sense as casting Jim Carrey to play Mr T in the new A-Team movie.

I don't understand why Hollywood refuses to stay faithful to the comicbooks. From what I've seen and heard thus far.....they can keep it.

Even though there is already an ongoing thread about this subject, I felt obliged to comment on your comment.

Regarding the casting of Lawrence Fishburne as Perry White; not a problem to me. You need a strong actor in that role as he is the character that sort of keeps the whole "Daily Planet" section of the Superman universe in line. He will certainly do a better job than [sadly the actor's name I've forgotten] did in "Superman Returns"

Regarding the new suit; whilst I'm not overly crazy about the whole honeycombing pattern of the uniform [or the likely lack of red trunk], I'm not nearly as revolted at this as I am at the new Spidey outfit, which is just a travesty to the character and to Spidey fans everywhere. At least with the Superman uniform, they kept it largely true to the spirit of Superman while making a few minor tweaks....
