Nicholas Winding Refn in talks to direct Big Screen Wonder Woman

This is the kind of enthusiasm the WW project needs. People who care and want to make the film.

    Excerpt:

In late 2010, a rumor broke out that Hendricks would play Wonder Woman in the pilot for the David Kelley-produced NBC reboot of the series; Hendricks denied she was in talks, but made clear that she'd be all for it happening.

"I heard that rumor too...I love it!...I've been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life..."

Christina Hendricks is a beautiful woman...but she's a redhead with super white skin...she will definitely need to darken her overall appearance...but I can picture her as Wonder Woman...much better choice than the rounder-faced Adrienne Palicki (of the failed Wonder Woman series)....Hendricks has more of a chiseled superheroine-type face...

    Adrienne Palicki...

    Christina Hendricks...

Hendricks would be my first choice for the part. She looks the part and she is a talented actress. Hec, she is not a natural redhead and fake tan would be easy enough to do.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Yeah I think Hendricks has just been dyeing her hair red since her teens....

With Captain America's success maybe Warners will wise up and do a WWII themed WW film.

                I agree. That would rule.

Refn is an interesting choice to direct a Wonder Woman film, that's for sure!
His films are very male-oriented, and sometimes quite brutal.
I have to admit, I'm a big fan of his films Pusher and Bleeder, though Bronson was miss in my opinion.

Maybe folks thought the same thing when Raimi was first slated to direct Spiderman.

Jamie Alexander is the only actress to play Wonder Woman for me.

I'd go with Morena Baccarin (who was also on Firefly) for Wonder Woman. She may be a little on the skinny side but I think Hollywood being what it is they could do something with her. I died a little inside when she cut her hair for V.

                        Gina Carano.

Pretty, mediterranean...and without question, convincingly beat 90% of the male population's arse.
