Ouch! Did you really find Green Lantern to be so bad that it deserved the pre-opening crucifixtion provided to it by critics who, by and large, probably only knew about Green Lantern from a poorly edited initial trailer? It was a far better film than the critics lead the public to believe, mon frere...
yep, it sucked, the dialog was horrid and most of the characters miscast. Sinestro was the one bright spot. bought a bootleg at the fleamarket for 5 bucks, and its a coaster now, I will never waste time rewatching it.
You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks
All I know is it seems some of you guys love when critics agree with you, and think they don't know anything when they disagree. I guess we all kinda do that in our own way - but I do think it's kinda funny.

The Critics I like the best(and trust)are the ones from the "geek" community. It means more to me to see good reviews from "Ain't It Cool News", then it does Rotten Tomatoes where they are critics, that sometimes "don't get It".
simple formula for me: if Roger Ebert likes it and the yahoo from Village Voice doesn't... I'll like it.
Are you talking about Armond White? That guy is hilarious to me! He's either completely insane or he's just doing it on purpose. It's impossible to tell.
