yea it's the only time I could take the baby without bothering anyone, I should've known something was up with Harry potter when only my wife and I and 4 other people were in there last Monday

Yeah...that 84% drop in only its second week of release for Potter...must be a record for such a high-profiled movie...

I'm so glad Cap is holding his ground in the box office--I think it's a great film, full of heart & action. Perhaps the best Marvel film so far, and my favorite superhero movie since Superman '78.

(And Cap and Superman are not even my favoriete characters!)
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Great news. I thought it was terrific and another great film in the build-up to The Avengers. Looks like Marvel is on solid ground with all it's franchises.

Other than Avengers and Ghost rider 2, has Marvel Studios made any other announcements for sequels or other characters getting the film treatment? (wolverine 2 and spiderman being at other studios of course)

Warner/dc really need to get their act together if they expect their superhero movies to replace Harry Potter as their tentpole events (dark knight rises aside)

I figured Potter would blow it up the first weekend then sink like a rock. Even worse drop than GL I believe.

It's official, Cap wins the comic movie race, if only by a tiny bit:

Weekend Report: 'Captain America' Rockets to the Top, 'Potter's Bubble Bursts - Box Office Mojo

Again, crow tastes good. Cap whooped GL's butt, and is by far the better film.
