    Neat!

    ....but "Zoids" seems to creep into a lot of nerldly lists like this one. Was it really that good? It can't be worst than the Transformers comic, but better than GI Joe? (Well.... maybe some issues, but GI Joe had some really nifty bits during it's run.)

        GIJOE should be the number one on the list. Lary Hama!! He made those characters come to life.

          what no love for Robotix?? No Team America (which was awesome for a fairly lame redco of Evil Kenevil toys). no Star comics Masters of the Universe? but ZOIDS makes the cut let alone as #1

          seriously I thought the transformers comics were good but they are just copying the formula Larry Hama Started with Gijoe and that comic defined the characters more than the initial filecards

          Rom and Micronauts are examples of how storytelling can supercede the toy line
