As well as spiral notebboks, composition notebooks and 3-Ring binders....Spider-Man, X-Men, Thor and Captain America. Reminded me of the old 70s Mead days....

I walked by it, and just saw a bunch of Paul Frank gear. I even said to my wife, "Where's all the super-hero stuff?" Didn't look that hard really, just figured my Spidey-sense would pick up on it.Comment

My long-time pal, bro and fellow member MIB picked up some of these at TARGET yesterday and picked me up a classic Capt. America folder. It's sweet to see the old artwork resurrected and they do take me back to the days of the late seventies when you could get cool stuff like this on a regular basis for back-to-school (which I did frequently and which, subsequently, usually got destroyed by the jocks and "cool kids" who thought comics were only for geeks). Personally, I thought there WAS a Hulk, but I could be mistaken. I did notice that the X-Men stuff (which I wouldn't really classify as "classic") was a mishmosh of characters by different artists (Byrne Colossus, Jim Lee Wolverine, Cockrum Storm), so it's probably the least desirable one of the bunch....
Haven't bought 'em yet, but as I told Tom, I'll probably pick them up when they get marked down to 50 cents as the summer progresses.....sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment
