Who Should Replace Bale in the Batman Re-Boot?

Now we already know that Chris Nolan & Christian Bale have said that this is their last BATMAN film. The studio says after that...Batman will be "re-booted". I don't know if that just means with new cast or not, I hope they don't re-tell his origin it's not needed(unless they do Year one).
So I thought it would be fun to cast the NEW Batman!

Personally...I can think of no one better for Bales replacement than Ian Somerhalder as Bruce/Batman. He's the perfect guy that can pull off both parts. He already has experience playing the bad boy and the intensity for the Role, not the mention the square Superhero Jaw.

Really no offense intended, my pointy-eared friend, but casting Ian Somerhalder as Bruce Wayne/Batman would become the "twilightization" of the series. I would much rather see Warner Bros./Nolan take a real chance and move further into the Batman mythos with a big screen "BATMAN BEYOND" movie IF they could cajole a Hollywood LEGEND into playing the older Bruce Wayne and that would be the one and only Clint Eastwood....

No offence taken. And no offence to you...but I HATE Batman Beyond and WB would never make a Movie out it.

As for Ian Somerhalder...it's not fair to tie him forever to "Vampire Diaries". Actors play many roles. Christian Bale isn't defined by his part in "Velvet Goldmine", or American Psycho.

well since the 3rd film isn't even out yet and IF it had a sequel that would be 3 years off. so any reboot would be beyond that time frame speculating the next dark knight now is just plain silly.

He's been done to death for the last 20 years in some form.

It's not long before people start thinking of him as they did Star Trek spin-offs

well since the 3rd film isn't even out yet and IF it had a sequel that would be 3 years off. so any reboot would be beyond that time frame speculating the next dark knight now is just plain silly.

Silly maybe to you, but I enjoy casting. It is like a fun game to me and regardless of how far off the next Batman movie is...rest assured there WILL BE another Batman.

Here's a vote for Batman Beyond if they can put the right team together for it.

It's funny how the animated series came about because Warners wanted a "teen Batman" for a younger demographic and the Batman animated team actually ended up with something that seemed much more darker. So much so that warners felt it was impossible to market Return of the Joker at the time.

Batman in a Blade Runner future is a win to me... Get Ridley Scott to direct.

Anyone. I can't stand Bale as Batman. Hopefully the next dude doesn't talk like Cookie Monster and they loose the rubber S&M goth suit.

Personally, I would like to see a Gotham Central film, focusing more on the GCPD, with little Batman screen time. All crime noir like. The Joker story would be awesome.
