I love this story, but its hard for me to tell from the trailer. Its looks faithful, but there are so many quick cuts and so little in terms of the story, I get more ipression about the style than the substance. I hope they do it justice. I will definitely pick this up when comes up.

looks good, too bad they lost Mazuchelli's art style in the translation. Guess all the shadows and stuff didn't translate well.

Wow, that looks great. One of my absolute favorite Batman tales, and Miller's greatest contribution to the character, IMHO.

I think this could possibly be one of the BEST Batman film ever. Now I say that as BIG TIME fan of Chris Nolan and what he's done for Batman. But the difference in my opinion...is that big screen movies have to appeal to a broader audience, where a direct to DVD animated movie can target the Comic Fan directly and not worry about demographics.

The other thing is you can stay closer to the Comic Book art style, story, etc. Things you just couldn't do in Hollywood. Some of the animation can be taken right from the frames of the comic book...how COOL is that?!!
