hulk n°181 for sale, Any idea about quotations, anyone interested?

Hullo There, I know that this isn't a comics shop, but I know that many of us are great comics collector too, so...A good friend of mine asked me to help him out to sell his incredible Hulk n° 181..It was bought more or less 20 years ago in a comics shop in London for a considerable amounts of pounds...it was always conserved under glass far from direct sunlight...the covers are ok, no signs, no damages, rips or spots..the internal pages show a brown colorations on the white margins but in my opinion they are not due to humidity (the comic book was well conserved in a dry enviroment), probably this one was part of a lot with some printing error..in any case the immagins are not affected by the problem...
I've seen very different quotations on e-bay and other sites for this comics book and before to put it on-line I wish to know your opinions.
Any kind of infos are welcome...and in the case You want to make an offer you' re welcome as well.
    Thanks for take a look.

Honestly I would just throw it out there on Ebay and see how much it brings. The prices are all over the place, and their all good!

I'll just comment from personal experience.

I sold this CGC graded Hulk 181 for $800 on eBay about four years ago (and yes, that picture is from my actual comic)...and the going rate is about the same today...the prices have not changed much in four years...

So that will give you a ballpark idea.

      Hope that helps.

I don't know if it's from your camera or not...but if that's the true background reds...then it looks like you got some slight fading on the cover already.

I knew someone 5 years ago selling this for 250 ..., I had a shot, but just didn't have the cash at the time... I knew it was a steal.

Is the marvel value stamp still in the comic?

sorry for my ignorance, do you mean the coupon showed in the pics?
if yes, it' is the back cover...and it is at his place.

it is mostly due to the bad light of the pics...even it is not so red as the one showed by You.That confirm the doubt i have about the fact that this conic book comes from a lot with some print problem

                  Hey Al!

Just eyeballing it, it appears to be in Very Good to Fine condition (which is very collectible). It might grade a Fine+, but I think that would be a stretch, due to the fading on the cover and the brownish paper.

People really started collecting comics in the 1970's - so there are SO many out there in much better condition that really command the big dollars. And those are the ones that people really want.

This is still a very desirable, key book - so he should have no problem selling it at the right price. He just won't be able to get $1000 for it. It's not nice enough. And people have this book offered in this grade on ebay for $350-450...and they are not selling.

I would say if it has the stamp (it's a cut out stamp inside the story that many people would cut out of the comic and collect), he should be able to sell it for $200-250.

                  Hope that helps!
