Jonah Hex...Anyone reading?

OK not a super-hero persay but I'm still digging the Gray/Palmiotti version of Jonah Hex, some 26 issues into it. Most of the stories are stand-alone and pretty good. Just enjoyed the current issue which was subtitled "A Grindhouse Western"...very cool and not the kind of Hex story I remember reading as a kid.

Now if only they'd put some kind of Sgt. Rock title back in the monthly line-up and maybe a Cain hosted House of Mystery!

This is an outstanding comic at the moment...I didn't read a lot of Hex when it was originally printed...but since starting the new ones I rushed out to by the collected old stories and was impressed by them also.
Long may it continue....anyone out there tried a Jonah Hex custom??

Haven't missed an issue yet, it's like reading a vintage Clint Eastwood western good stuff, of course i also loved the oringal series as a kid, i also second a monthly Sgt Rock and Cain House of Mystery

Did ya both get the mini series Sgt Rock last year or so ..that was pretty good

Yeah i read them, great art and story, i really loved the white borader on the pages reminded me of the classic Sgt Rock books of the 70s

Heck ya I read them.so far so awesome.I am working on a Jonah custom.
I'm a fan from way back.I have all his appearances...Weird western,his own series and various other appearances.If Hex is in it you can bet its going to be a strange tale.
I love the new series it reminds me of his days back in weird western.Anybody interested there is also a batlash 6 issue mini out right away as well.
I really loved the 25 issue of Jonah as a hat nod to the old series.
You can count me in on the list to bring the sgt back as a regular.

Good stuff

I dropped all DC stuff except Hex after Infinite Crisis. I should drop it too on principle, but I like it too much. You gotta do a Hex custom card:-)

^ I know I did a Hex custom box for someone before, with other DC western characters down the sides. Card'd be easy.

Did they ever release volume 2 of the dc showcase Jonah Hex...I know they are cancelling the line but not sure if this was out
