    Saga of the Super-Sons TPB

Just picked this up today....the Bob Haney/Dick Dillin stories from World's Finest featuring Superman Jr. and Batman Jr., the Super-Sons! Nice to see DC acknowledging some of the oddball stuff in their history. The dialogue, plot and even the art has a nice 70s vibe to it. I always thought Dick Dillin was one of the underated artists of the 70s...his JLA run is pure gold IMO.

Still have alot of these issues I was always a fan of them. Kind of makes me think that Bryan Singer must have read them when he planned superman returns

Love the Art. The dialog back when was pretty lame.

I noticed this yesterday and was surprised to see DC did this, I love Dick Dillon's art. Bob Haney's writing can turn your brain to mush but in the right frame of mind, it's fun.

Not that I imagine anything nearly as good as these original super-sons stories will come out of it, I understand from reading DC's editorial pages lately that this will be one of the 52 earths back in DC's multiverse. . .

^ Ahhhh....that explains the mysterious reissue of these stories then. Why does everything have to be on it's own earth though? Can't we just have a good story every now and again without worrying where it belongs exactly in the multiversial scheme of things?

Does this include the story from the recalled Elseworlds 80 page Giant?

Either way, I'll have to get this at some point.

Yes it does. Although it's written by Bob Haney, artwise it seems out of place in the book (by Kieron Dwyer)
