A minor tweak like Batman had in 1964 may have been acceptable. Maybe even losing the shorts...MAYBE. But Superpad doesn't cut it. Even by George Perez, who makes it look as good as possible.

I can't remember exactly what its from...I think these were designs for Superman for Earth 1 back when they were going to do Batman on Earth 1. That design for Batman ended up being pretty close to what they went with when Bruce came back from the dead...

I'd rather they make no Changes there is nothing wrong with Superman's costume it's perfect

for me 1938 Superman is the version I like the most no nonsense version of him.....

If it were me I'd go with his first appearance look like this....
