Daredevil of course was originally supposed to be Ronin before they made the switch to Echo.

Also fans of Dark Avengers might note that Mike Deodato is coming on board to draw the book.

Kind of funny to realize that in any other incarnation, this line-up of New Avengers would be called The Defenders or Heroes for Hire and be a mid-list selling title at best. Luke Cage, Dr Strange, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Squirrel Girl, Jessica Jones etc.

I'm surprised that Marvel isn't slapping Avengers on every other book instead of every fourth book. Although we do live in a world where there is a Pet Avengers title.

DC seems to be taking their cue from Marvel with the revival of JLI as well as the new Justice League Dark book...

I haven't bought a comic in ages, but I'd totally go for that team. But, yeah, Palmer's still alive--late 60s, I think.
